Zombie Logic Review Returns With Poetry By Rob Plath

Three poems by Rob Plath.

stabbing at ghosts

today i want to
take this knife
& nick the universe
in the heart

but its heart is
made of nothingness

so i sit here
w/my pain
& unused blade

take yr best swing, motherfuckers

a new troop
of demons arrived
dispatched by
the fucking universe
i guess it thinks
i have more fight
left in me
but if they ever
autopsied my angel
they'd see nothing
just burnt crumbs
but the demons
new & old
do not care
they keep lashing
w/their terrible tails
at a few black morsels
perhaps the strength
i possess is that
there's not much
left to damage

TEAR IT OUT

the
human
skull

on
the
shelf

is
beautiful

b/c
it
contains
no
brain
